The Reichert TS400 is a high performance handheld, clinical refractometer that determines urine specific gravity, protein concentration in plasma or serum, and total solids in other aqueous solutions.

It is designed specifically for clinical, chemistry and classroom laboratories.

  • Automatic temperature compensation provides accurate readings without correction tables or temperature measurement
  • Instant results with just a drop of sample. Simply place sample on the prism, hold the unit perpendicular to a light source and look into the eyepiece
  • Easy to read scale and a 10x focusable eyepiece optimizing image resolution and viewing
  • Highly visible, bright, blue shadowline
  • Small sample required–just 0.01mL
